Crafting Your Vision offers an opportunity to connect with amazing women through a blend of creative experiences and deep relaxation. Retreat activities include:
- creative expression led by artists Diana Walz and Wendy Kennedy (no artistic experience required).
- Yoga Nidra and Restorative Yoga, led by Christy Hutton, offering periods of deep relaxation (appropriate for all body types and abilities).
- additionally, participants will have opportunities to explore what it means to be a woman and what legacy we wish to create.
Crafting Your Vision Creators
Diana Walz, Christy Hutton, Wendy Kennedy
Diana Walz is a licensed clinical social worker with a private practice in Columbia, Mo. She has an avid interest in exploring, creating, and affirming healing and wholeness in herself and others. Diana enjoys using art, guided imagery, and meditation as tools to create sacred space and self-discovery.
Christy Hutton is enthusiastic and passionate about helping women restore and embrace the peace within themselves and the world in which they live. Her practice of yoga and mindfulness are paths to this vision within
herself day by day. Christy is a licensed psychologist in Columbia.
Wendy Kennedy dedicates herself to developing and becoming closer to the Goddess Within each day. Wendy's polymer clay Goddess sculptures are intended to reflect varied paths toward feminine expression, awareness, and spirituality.
Registration
- Registration begins at 5:00 pm on Friday
- Retreat ends at 5:00 pm on Saturday
- Cost is $175.00 per person
- Price based on double occupancy room
- Breakfast and lunch provided on Saturday.
- You may wish to bring snacks and yoga mat.
- Please bring 2-3 blankets.
Directions:
Follow Highway 54 to the Rt. B Wardsville exit. Go east on Rt. B to Christy Drive. Turn right. Then turn left onto Bennett Lane. Go to the top of the hill. Rickman Center parking is on the left, and the Center main building is at the end of the road.
